Phone Recycling
Because of the marketing methods deployed by the mobile
networks, whereby handsets are sold at subsidised prices,
we can be forgiven for believing phones have little or
no value. This assumption is wrong; as we discover when
we have to replace a lost or stolen phone within contract.
Our recycling division dispenses with obsolete hardware
in a safe manner and buys used handsets to provide clients
with a revenue when upgrading.
Many mobile phone components contain substances which
require careful and considerate disposal. An example
being batteries which have the potential to cause long-lasting
environmental damage.
To help reduce further environmental damage, all unserviceable
mobile phones that we receive are recycled in accordance
with the European "W.E.E.E" (Waste Electrical
and Electronic Equipment) directive, and disposed of
safely. Many parts are ground down and reused in industry.
Equipment Disposal Process
Contact us
Call, Email or fax us to arrange collection. A courier
will collect the phones from you FREE of charge and delivers
to ct-uk™.
Testing
Phones are tested, Sim cards inadvertently left in phones
are removed and destroyed and any information stored
on the phone is permanently deleted.
Payment
If you are happy with our valuation, we will send you
a cheque made payable to your company or a charity
of your choice.
What happens to your old mobiles
The majority of our mobile phones are exported to countries
in Africa and Eastern Europe where the cost of new
mobiles is often prohibitive.
Mobiles beyond economical repair are stripped for parts
or completely recycled at the SNAM recycling plant in
Southern France.
As an independent solutions provider, ct-uk™ will ensure all equipment recommendations are only based upon your requirements. Our advice is focused on a "best for your organisation" approach.
